Photography Frida Marklund

Information

Frida’s love affair with photography started at the age of fourteen, when she would spend hours in the dark room at school. But it would take another eleven years, and an almost degree in art direction, before she turned her passion into a career.

After graduating from one of Sweden top photography schools Frida Marklund started assisting different photographers, both locally and abroad. Eventually her work took her to New York where she stayed for two years. During this time she was strongly influenced by documentary photography, incorporating this with her commercial background Frida has created a unique style that is both honest and evocative.

Frida’s work has been published in such magazines as Oyster, Schön, Styleby, bon.se and Metal. Her clients include Urban Outfitters, Lindex, H&M and Diana Orving
