After graduating as a communication designer Dirk started his photography career as apprentice to legendary photographer David LaChapelle for nearly three years before he continued to work for Peter Lindbergh, Albert Watson and Patrick Demarchelier among others for another two years.
His work has been published in magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and L'Officiel. His commercial clients include Braun, Head + Shoulders, GillettePantene Pro V, Astor and Ferrari.
