Australian born, Sam always had a passion for photography while representing the Australian Soccer team in his youth. Unfortunately after sustaining a severe knee injury at 17 years of age his dreams of playing in the UK Premier League ended so he decided to take up his passion of photography.

After graduating from Photography Arts, Sam decided to move to Sydney to assist.
After assisting for 3 months and still shooting personal work he was noticed by the fashion director of Australian Elle and was commissioned to do his first ever 10 page story at the age of 21. From there his career took off and he worked for major magazine publications including Vogue and Harpers Bazaar and major Advertising clients.
3 years later Sam moved toEurope to advance his career and has worked for many leading publications such as Dutch Vogue, German + British Elle.

Creating timeless images with the way light shapes the subject is what sam tries to capture in every frame
