Luis Ridao was born in the Pampas, with Spanish and Brazilian parents. He moves to Buenos Aires to study a BA in Communication at the UBA. By chance was selected by photographer Bruce Weber to be part of an iconic ad campaign starting to work in fashion a few years based in Tokyo, Paris, and New York. Working with the masters of the industry in NYC he began as photographer’s assistant.
He return to Europe to do a solo trip for several countries taking pictures with his old camera roll, in Amsterdam he decides that his passion become his profession focus on Interiors and Lifestyle photography. Time after in Rio he meets her future wife, the fashion stylist Marina Gallo and they move together to Spain. Now they live in Paris with her son and a cute dog.
Luis is recognized for his vision of the spaces and the sensibility in the composition, showing always a bit of soul in a natural light. Regularly contributes to the following magazines: Casa Vogue Italia, Architectural Digest and Vogue -several international editions-, Harper´s Bazaar, The World of Interiors, Vanity Fair Spain, Elle Decor and El País Semanal. Comercial clients include Loewe, Bvlgari and Zara Home.
