Her reflection on the image of women, her beauty with all its imperfections, sensual, subtle, but also outspoken and humorous.
In the publication, images are placed next to each other in a surprising way, creating a unique atmosphere that raises questions. With an abstract and surrealistic approach, both in the chosen image and in the combinations and structure of this publication, her admiration for the female body in all its versatility and diversity is emphasized.
In a time where edited and artificial images seem to become the new norm, Wendelien Daan uses this publication to draw attention to authenticity and identity in our image and expectation of beauty and the image of women.
