With their soup-throwing theatrics at the National Gallery in October, two campaigners from JUST STOP OIL showed how to wake people up to the climate crisis with nothing but a tin opener and nerves of steel.

For our latest issue, Harley Weir lenses the organisation of ordinary people asking the UK government to sit up and take notice of our burning world while Ellen Peirson-Hagger talks to the climate activists from across the world to reveal why “hope is a thing we create when we take action.”
