‘Meanwhile at the Local Cult’

For his latest project “MEANWHILE AT THE LOCAL CULT” photographer Clemens Ascher visualizes the devotion by humans for a higher spirit and therefore experiencing a consciousness of its own. Ascher creates an eerie atmosphere in his black and white pictures, having his characters perform with intense expressions and poses. As well as capturing the contrast between light and shadow and human relations.
